Open filters in production
Every production view includes a filter workflow so you can narrow the shots and scenes that are currently displayed.
Use filters to narrow complex projects
Filters are useful when a project includes a lot of scenes, assignments, or metadata and you need to isolate one subset of work.
You can combine filters to focus on:
- Specific scenes
- Specific shots
- Status values
- Assigned people
- Other metadata fields in the project
Choose filter level deliberately
The original tutorial emphasizes choosing the right filter level so you see only the information that matters for the current task.
Apply filters before editing metadata in bulk. It reduces mistakes and keeps production views easier to read.
