What Generate World does

Generate World is a Quick Action that turns a reference image into an explorable world on the canvas. This gives you a way to move through a location, find a better angle, and capture a new take from the world you generated.
The Generate World workflow in Preview.

Use Generate World from a reference image

To use Generate World:
  1. Start from a reference image.
  2. Run the Generate World Quick Action.
  3. Enter the generated world and explore the space.
  4. Find the angle you want.
  5. Use Capture Take to send a new upscaled image back onto the canvas.

What happens after capture

The captured frame returns to the canvas as a normal image. After that, you can:
  • Use it as a new reference
  • Save it into the library
  • Add it to a shot
  • Continue iterating with more prompts
Generate World is best when you want camera exploration from a strong starting frame, not when you are still deciding what the location should be.
