Filters work across the whole project, and they’re at their most powerful when several people share one space: filter by your own name and the canvas shows only what you made; filter by a character and Production shows only their shots. Nothing is hidden from the project: non-matching work just steps back until you clear the filter.

In Studio

Click the Filter button beside the view switcher. One menu covers both faces of the canvas:
  • Canvas view: files and groups that don’t match dim in place, so you keep your spatial bearings while the matches pop.
  • Files view: the feed narrows to matching files only.
Six facets: Tags, Author, Type, Model, Resolution, and Aspect ratio.
Working in a busy shared Studio? Filter Author to yourself and the canvas becomes just your work, the fastest way to find your own takes in a team project.

In Production

Click Add filter to build rule chips: pick a field, choose is or is not, and select one or more values. Stack as many chips as you need; they apply across Kanban, Storyboard, and Shotlist alike. Ten fields are filterable:
  • Status, Priority, Assignee
  • Character, Location, Prop (your library items, so “every shot with this character” is one filter)
  • Sequence
  • Shot type, Camera, Int / Ext

Save the filters you reuse

In Production, click Save on the filter row to keep a filter set as a view. The views dropdown holds Your views and Shared views, plus New view to start fresh, so “my shots, not done yet” or “all EXT shots missing a location” is one click away for the whole team. Clear all filters resets the board.
