Save locations from environment-first images
The original tutorial recommends saving locations from images that show the environment without characters, people, or creatures. The saved location should contain only the elements you want to influence future generations.
Build a stronger location library
It is often useful to save multiple images of the same location so you have references for different shot types and angles later.
Ways to save a location
You can save a location by:
- Right-clicking an image and choosing Add to → Location
- Using the image three-dot menu and choosing Add to → Location
- Creating a location entry from the Locations sidebar
Add to a new or existing location
The save flow lets you assign the image to an existing location or create a new one with a name, description, and more uploaded source images.
Save a range of views for important sets. Wide establishing images and more specific angles both help when you need continuity later.
